Getting something authentically made is hard to beat, unless it’s authentically made in Texas. And, McIntire Saddlery is making handmade works of art that will appeal not only to your senses but to your sense of style as well. Owner/operator, Miranda McIntire has been working with leather since she was in high school, growing up in her uncle Ronald McIntire’s shop, watching him make saddles. She took her love of that work with her when she went to Tarleton State University to get her degree in agriculture, with a minor in business, going on to sell Ag Commodities and real estate, but never straying far from what she loved. She started working for other saddle makers, and then finally took the leap toward doing her own custom leather work, partnering with her uncle to provide quality, made-to-order goods, and eventually adding a wholesale line. But, the latest addition to her repertoire is a clothing line you’ll most definitely want to get your hands on.

Located in Cisco, Texas, Miranda has been selling her own brand of products since 2002. The partnership with her uncle has produced such things as handmade saddles and tack, right down to wallets and belts of her own creation. In keeping with items her customers liked, desired, or straight out requested, she expanded her offerings to include spur and guitar straps, gun slings, and album and notepad covers. A natural transition for her, she began to offer a wholesale line of leather room and car scents, earrings and cuffs, and now a new line of caps and shirts that mirror her obvious good taste, personal style, and ability to read her customer’s needs…because y’all don’t even know yet how much you’re going to NEED one (or more) of these things! They’re like western inspired clothing crack!
