The newly opened Texas Hill Country barbecue joint called The Switch will be hosting a special event on Saturday, August 4! You’re invited to Meet The Pitmasters and enjoy an all-day happy hour. In case trying their Cajun specialties wasn’t enough, this amazing opportunity to meet the lead pitmasters at their Dripping Springs location is a unique opportunity to talk Texas barbecue with the best in the grilling game.

From 2 – 6 p.m., The Switch will feature Pitmasters Christopher McGhee and Bill Dumas, together with Pitmasters Marco Oglesby and Troy Warlick. Guests can meet them as well as tour The Switch’s custom-made pit room. Boasting custom-made smokers by Moberg Smokers of Dripping Springs, this Texas Hill Country summer event also allows for visitors to view the masters at work! The Switch features Head Chef Barclay Stratton and the Lead Pitmasters noted above. The combination is making ripples in the Texas Hill Country foodie community. If you haven’t yet had a chance to check it out, it needs to go on your barbecue bucket list. In addition to this great event, The Switch will be offering all-day happy hour specials, including $2 off all specialty cocktails, $3 domestic pints, and $5 pints of select craft beer. All of these happy hour specials complement the establishment’s signature craft-style smoked meats and Cajun dishes. Not only that, but they feature a delicious selection of salads and sandwiches which have their own element of smoke.
