Deep in the heart of Rising Star, Texas, three little miracles were born to one proud dairy cow momma.

On Harris Dairies, the farm is welcoming three newborn heifers into the world in a miracle birth from one strong dairy cow. Born Wednesday Night, all three are doing just fine and seem to be totally healthy. So why is it a miracle?

Well, as KTAB reported, the “odds of a cow having triplets varies – 1 in 100,000; 1 in 700,000; 1 in 8 million” so there isn’t a hard and fast number, but it’s incredibly rare. What’s rarer yet is that the three newborns are all little girls.

The photo of Jerry Harris and his three miracle heifers was posted on Facebook and has started circulating the web. While news agencies are reaching out for more information and an interview, there’s no set word yet on when that will happen.

For now, let’s celebrate the birthday of these three baby girls and be grateful that they all made it safely into this world. Big congratulations to Jerry Harris and the team at Harris Dairies, as a happy momma cow could only perform this miracle birth.

That momma cow gets the Mother of the Year award in our books, no questions asked.
