Featuring historical lodge accommodations to apartment-style settings, cottages, and casual campsite stays, accessibility isn’t a problem, and comfort is never overlooked. The property’s original layout was designed in the 1930s and ’40s, when it was owned by a Texas oilman who chose nothing but the best for his future visitors. Although many visit the property for workshops, retreats, conferences, and camps, still more come to Mo-Ranch to spend quality time with their family and friends in an atmosphere that supports fun, both indoors and out.

In contrast to the hustle and bustle we all experience during a summer that often seems all-too-short, a stay at Mo-Ranch is indeed just what the doctor ordered. Its location truly does offer something for everyone, in what its own staff has defined as “a sacred place where, for generations, individuals and families have gathered along the banks of the crystal clear Guadalupe River.” Guests have been known to describe it as “a place where heaven and earth are closer, where they can unplug and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.”

Open year-round, Mo-Ranch is located at the north fork of the Guadalupe River. Water activities are at the forefront of fun during the warmer months. Paddling down the Guadalupe in a kayak or canoe simply can’t be beat in the Texas heat! In addition, outdoor amenities such as a zip line, a climbing wall, a ropes course, five miles of hiking trails to enjoy, and a swimming pool to cool off in when it’s all said-and-done, help make for the perfect staycation here in our state. Those looking for some rest and relaxation after a particularly challenging personal time can recharge in the Texas Hill Country doing some quiet reflection, or wildlife and bird watching.
