Moody Gardens Holiday Attractions Welcomes in the Winter Season

A favorite destination for the holiday season is Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX. Welcoming its mild winter with a full-blown array of wintry activities to inspire the beginning of the holidays, it’s “The largest holiday destination in the Southwest,” according to its website. Offering holiday attractions such as “Ice Land” with a new theme for 2017 titled “Rainforest Holiday.” “A skilled team of master ice carvers has charted your course for your journey through the rainforests of the world to see monkeys, beautiful birds, incredible butterflies, colorful orchids and so many wonderful creatures,” shares its website.

There is also the “Festival of Light” waiting to brighten your path through a beautiful display of colorful lights along a… “mile-long trail with more than one million lights and lighted scenes” that take you on a tour throughout Moody Gardens.

Take in the area’s only outdoor ice skating rink as you sip on some hot cocoa and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. There are also fun activities to take in such as an artic slide, Holiday 3D Films, Train Rides, Photos with Santa, and even a Cirque Joyeux Noel Dinner and Show at the Moody Gardens Hotel. There’s even a 4D version of the beloved classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to sit back and enjoy the iconic characters we all grew up with.
