Following in Hollywood’s footsteps, and celebrating Texas Independence Day, on Saturday, March 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., the San Saba County Historical Museum will be holding “A Night at the Museum,” at Mill Pond Park. True to the concept of its namesake movie, San Saba area locals will portray the founding fathers of the county in a type of “history comes to life” style of entertainment. Guests will also be treated to an authentic campfire supper featuring a menu of stew, beans, cornbread, and cobbler. Dinner will be served under the stars and the evening will close with a great display of fireworks which will play out over beautiful Mill Pond Park. While you’re there, you can also register to win a San Saba weekend getaway!

Admission for this event is $10 for children ages 11 years and up, $5 for those from 6-10, and kids under 5 will get in free.
