Outdoor enthusiasts and “wheeling” aficionados can gear up for a weekend full of fun Oct. 20-22 as JKFreaks.com presents its 5th Annual Lone Star Fall Crawl at Hidden Falls Adventure Park located just outside of Marble Falls, Texas. The registration fee for the event is $20 per vehicle, however, all proceeds will go to support Pointe of Hope, a Leander-based organization working to aid the growing homeless population in and around the Austin area. And in case you were wondering exactly what goes on at an off-roading event such as the Fall Crawl, just take a look at the 2017 promotional video.

According to the event’s website, once the registration fee is paid, attendees can qualify for a discount of 20 percent off all park related fees, including those associated with camping and wheeling. As an added bonus, paying the initial fee ensures participants will receive 10 raffle tickets and a bag full of goodies.

The fun begins Friday evening when those just getting familiar with off-roading adventures can make a run-up Hidden Falls Adventure Park’s Wildcat Mountain. At the same time, attendees interested in open night wheeling may do so until midnight.

Saturday is jam-packed full of activities beginning first thing in the morning and lasting well into the night. However, one of the main occurrences is the raffle which begins at 6 p.m. This is a chance for attendees to win prizes generously donated by the event’s sponsors.

Raffle tickets can be purchased for two dollars apiece, and once again all proceeds will be given to Point of Hope to aid those in need.

In regards to sleeping accommodations, the park has campsites set up for both improved and primitive camping. However, if a hotel stay is more suitable to your taste, nearby Marble Falls has several venues to choose from.

At its core, the JKFreaks Lonestar Fall Crawl is a wonderful opportunity for members of the off-roading community to come together for a family-friendly event full of adventures and memory making fun, while also supporting a worthy cause.
