Are you looking for a romantic getaway?  How about a girls’ weekend? Do you need some alone time? Whether you are a “Weekender” or in town for the week or longer, this little old grain silo is the place to stay. Seriously!  It’s full of southern charm inside and out. This incredibly unique silo-turned-vacation home is located in New Braunfels, Texas and was built in the 1940s. After an extensive renovation, the round farm building has been transformed into one of the coolest homes in Texas, and it happens to be located in one of the coolest towns in the Lone Star State.

As soon as you walk inside, you’ll fall in love with this cozy little gem. The living/kitchen area features beautiful natural woods with dark tile which make the space feel comfy. The compact kitchen features a mini-fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage space for your snacks while you enjoy your stay.

The master bathroom makes it a snap in getting ready to venture out to historic New Braunfels or Gruene. The town of Gruene has been designated “Best Historic Town” by the State of Texas. As big as Texas is, that’s no small feat!

Fantastic restaurants, shopping, and historical tours are available all year long. Antiques shops, quaint boutiques, specialty stores and wineries line the streets in this charming little town. It is also home to Schlitterbahn Waterpark located on the opal green Guadalupe River. It’s just minutes from your doorstep. Year after year, it has been voted to be one of the nation’s top water parks.
