Stressed Mom Receives Helping Hand from Olive Garden Angel

By  |

Last Thursday, Dallas French and her family sat down at an Olive Garden in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was a rough day for the group who had been at the Children’s Hospital to have tests run on sick 4-month-old, Ellee.

French was tired while trying to make a bottle. Unfortunately, it fell to the floor and all over her. She made another bottle while the baby cried. By that time, the breadsticks and salad arrived, but French didn’t have enough hands to enjoy it. To everyone’s surprise, the waiter told her he would feed the baby while the she ate.

French posted a photo on Facebook of the waiter leaning over the back of the booth to carefully feed the infant. She wrote, “This melted all of us and this is what we need more of! He fed her I ate my salad and bread sticks and that milk on the floor got cleaned up after we left because he just understood!”

Even though the waiter had no idea how hungry and tired the family felt after the stressful day, he stepped right in with a simple act of kindness that went a long way. After her Facebook post went viral, the Olive Garden took notice and posted, “We will be sure to share these kudos with our Little Rock team so this team member can be recognized!”

Hopefully, the waiter will see his act of kindness returned.
