KSAT reports that a unique event will be taking place at the Retama Park Race Track in Selma, Texas (outside of San Antonio) on Saturday. Retama will play host to both camel and ostrich races! They will occur “…after the sixth and eighth horse races..” of the day.

This isn’t the first time the track has hosted these odd races, and they want everyone to know that it’s O.K. to bring the whole family. “General admission is only $6; kids (12&under), seniors (62+) and military only $3. Bring the whole family to experience the great food and fun this Saturday,” they wrote on their Facebook page.

The Texas race track even intends on having a special Snapchat filter in place so people can take selfies of themselves alongside a cartoon ostrich and camel to celebrate the weird event and let their friends know what they’re up to.

Though there aren’t any videos on YouTube from past ostrich and camel races at Retama Park, there are a few uploads from Canterbury Park in Minnesota on their Extreme Day of races. If their videos are any indication of how the competition will go in Texas, they’re sure to be incredibly ridiculous and entertaining.
