Usually children have to use their imaginations to pretend they’re playing in a mansion or pirate ship, but Virginia-based company PoshTots can make children’s dreams a reality – for a price, of course.

For the past 13 years, PoshTots has created extravagant playhouses, furniture and toys for affluent kids. With the new tiny home craze spreading among adults, it’s interesting to see how expensive playhouses are looking more and more like real, livable small abodes.

According to the PoshTots website, the Mediterranean Villa Playhouse adorned in Mexican tile can have “cable, running water, electricity, central air or a wireless communication system.” Shipping of the home takes about 10 weeks and will cost parents $50,000.

The $54,000 New England Lodge Playhouse has cedar shingles and box windows. From the photo, it looks like a real house!

For $52,000, even 3-4 adults can hang out in Red Beard’s Revenge Pirate Ship.

If parents are looking for a “cheaper” options, the Storybook Bungalow has a skylight, doorbell, and loft for $7,699.

While these playhouses are certainly beautiful, parents who can’t afford over-the-top toys can rest assured that children will always find a way to make even a simple tent into an exciting playroom.
