Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive central nervous system disorder that affects millions of people daily. Mostly occurring in adults over the age of 40, there is no known cure and only methods to treat the symptoms. Thankfully, there’s hope. This amazing video features research being headed by Dr. Jay Alberts, a physician at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and how the simple act of riding a bike can help Parkinson’s patients pedal past the disease.

Watching this video, I could not help but be inspired and uplifted. What amazing work Dr. Alberts is doing to help patients attain some relief from this crippling disease. With the help of Dr. Alberts and other dedicated physicians like him, perhaps we will see the day Parkinson’s Disease is a disease of the past.
