Located at the intersection of Boerne Stage Road and Scenic Loop Road is Scenic Loop Café and Bar. Established in 1991, it is a charming oasis just outside the hustle and bustle of I-10 traffic. The stone building has a replenishing cavernous feel; large glass windows bring in the light and greenery of the patio. Outside, an arbor hosts a patio bar, seating areas, and native plantings evoke a Mediterranean feel, perfect for relaxing evenings of chatting with friends and family. Misters and heaters are installed to ensure comfort year round.

Appetizers are varied and can please most any discerning palate. Some examples are blue crab cakes, spinach artichoke dip, and fried mushrooms. Liquid refreshment is equally appealing. Ranging from Texas-crafted beer, wine, and spirits to specialty cocktails, the snake bite margarita, basil gimlet, and white peach sangria are sure to please.

Main courses come in a variety of sizes and sides compliment the taste combination for which you are searching. Recent samplings included roasted garlic and goat cheese, shrimp enchiladas, and flank steak. Delicious! Special menus are also featured during the year. Attire and atmosphere vary between casual and date night.

Scenic Loop Café is open seven days a week and is the perfect place for an enjoyable evening in the Texas Hill Country. Let the big silver fork point the way!
