Houston Rapper Paul Wall Wants to Get All of the Astros Grillz
Well-known Houston rapper Paul Wall loves the Astros, and he wants to treat them to a reward only he could give them – their very own grill. “U know we had to do it! In celebration of @astros goin to the World Series we are offering free grillz for the entire team c/o me/ @tvjohnny” he tweeted last week.
According to Click2Houston.com, Wall co-owns Johnny Dang & Company, which specializes in making pricy and flashy grillz. He’s thinking about offering the players who want one a solid grill with an engraved Astros emblem. “One or two is not too expensive, now if the whole 40-man roster wants a grill, oooh it could start getting expensive. But I’m a die-hard Astros fan and for me and TV Johnny to make grillz for them and congratulate them with a grill it means something, and that they would even accept or want a grill means a lot to me,” Wall told the news with a grin.
As Sports Illustrated writes, Wall has been a loyal Astros fan for years. Back in 2005, he even released a song as an ode to the team called “They Dont Know (Astros World Series Remix),” which gives a shout out to Minute Maid park and all of the players.
Grillz can be incredibly ornate and each is customized to the individual. If you’re curious about Johnny Dang & Company’s grillz, check out their website here.
