These Injury Lawyers Want to Pay For Your Ride Home on Cinco de Mayo

By  |

This Friday marks the 5th of May, so those who like a good tequila special will be going out for Cinco de Mayo. Since many people like to kick back a few cocktails on this holiday, especially on a Friday night, Sutliff & Stout, personal injury lawyers in Houston, have offered to pick up the tab for a sober drive home for those in the Houston and Austin metro area.

ABC 13 writes that by mailing in your receipt from a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber, Sutliff & Stout will rebate you up to $30 (with tip only accounting for 10 percent of the charge) via your PayPal account. As long as the ride took place between 5 p.m. on May 5th and 10 a.m. on May 6th and participants are within the first 1000 people to mail in their receipts by May 12th, they’ll receive reimbursement.

According to their website, MyTexasInjuryLawyers.com, the law firm offers this service for several holidays that can be associated with drinking. “At Sutliff & Stout our mission is to help make the communities that we serve safer. Over the past year we’ve paid for hundreds of taxi and ride-sharing rides in Houston and Austin. If we prevent even one accident, it’s money well spent,” they write.
