With its video entitled “Explore the Pearl District in San Antonio, Texas,” HGTV has enticed viewers to tour the fair Texas Hill Country city using some of its more outstanding features. Less than a minute in length, the video manages to highlight the area’s shopping, local food, and historic destinations as well as accommodations,  and arts and culture options.

The Pearl District of San Antonio is so-named for the brewery that once operated there. Now re-envisioned and redesigned as a public space in the city, it includes San Antonio’s only five-star hotel (Hotel Emma), a farmer’s market, boutique shops, and wonderful eateries. The food alone is worth making the trip, but the public art installations, the people, and simply finding yourself in this amazing part of the Texas Hill Country are all great reasons to make hit the road for this Hill Country destination.
