Well, that’s one way to do it.

A photo of two San Antonians standing in the back of a pickup truck to restrain a mattress from falling onto I-10 is making a splash on Facebook.

Roxanne Garza took the photo on Thursday afternoon while driving behind the guys. Her Facebook post of the photo has 10,000 likes and more than 3,000 shares.

The great irony of this picture is that they are passing by a highway sign explaining the frequency of deaths of Texas highways.

Hernandez told Mysanantonio.com that the vehicle was going at least 65 mph. “I was kind of scared for them,” she said. We totally agree.

Hopefully, these guys made it to their destination in one piece.

Texas law prohibits people from riding in the back of pickup trucks and trailers, so aside from the inherent safety concern, we don’t recommend you try this during your next move.
