Poptails Come Back to Texican Court

Poptails are back at Texican Court in Las Colinas, this time for a worthy cause. “Poptails with a Purpose” will donate a portion of the proceeds from their popular summer drinks to Baylor Scott White Foundation June 1-August 31.

Civic leaders established Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation in 1977, to raise funds for nonprofit healthcare in Irving. The Foundation’s primary recipient is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Irving.

Guests of Texican Court, a Valencia Hotel Group property, can make a difference by purchasing one of these three delicious poptails this summer. Fans of the hotel’s social media channels also have an opportunity to nominate a deserving individual to enjoy a two-night Poptail Staycation.

“We are excited to start safely reopening everything and are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to Irving’s healthcare community,” says Texican Court’s Sales and Marketing Director Brianna Sepulveda. “Texican Court has the space you need to social distance, and we want to extend an invite to everyone to come to enjoy a poptail in either The Two Mules Cantina, patio, or pool.”

The Two Mules Cantina is open for dinner with a limited menu every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. Indoor seating is open to 50% capacity, with additional outdoor and poolside seating. The pool is open for regular hours, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Mexican Candy Poptail
(Recipe makes one beverage)
• 1.75 oz. Silver Tequila
• .5 oz. Watermelon Liquor
• 3 dashes of Hot Sauce
• 2 oz. Sprite
• Mango or Lime Popsicle
• Tajin Rim garnished with Lime Wedge

Add Tequila, Watermelon Liquor, and Sprite into a Cocktail Shaker with some Ice. Then shake and strain into a Tajin-rimmed glass with ice top with (3) dashes of Texican Hot Sauce. Be sure to add Popsicle and Lime Wedge Garnish.

Mellow Yellow Poptail
(Recipe makes one beverage)
• 1.75 oz. Cucumber Mint Vodka
• 3 oz. Lemonade
• Lemon Popsicle
• Garnished with Sliced Cucumber and Pineapple Wedge

Add Cucumber Mint Vodka and Lemonade into a Cocktail Shaker with Ice, then shake and strain into a glass. Add Popsicle and garnish with Cucumber and Pineapple Wedge

Pineapple Breeze Poptail
(Recipe makes one beverage)
• 1.75 oz. Malibu Coconut Rum
• 1 oz. Midori
• 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
• Pineapple Popsicle
• Garnished with Basil and Luxardo Cherries

Add Midori then ice to a glass. Add Malibu and Pineapple Juice into Cocktail Shaker with Ice. Shake and strain into glass with Midori. Add Popsicle and garnish with Basil and Luxardo Cherries.
