“Waylon and Willie are pet raccoons. They do not eat too much but prefer not to exercise. Therefore; they are fat!” Vicki Coppen wrote on her new YouTube upload. She goes on to explain that the two need to cram a little cardio into their day, so on occasion, they like to go swimming!

In the video, viewers are treated to two chubby and fluffy raccoons making their way into the pool along with their “dad.” Watching the pair of raccoons float effortlessly through the water is as surprisingly soothing as it is strange.

Since Waylon and Willie are loved pets, they’re welcome in the Coppen’s pool, but for many pool owners, raccoons are a nuisance. It’s a big enough problem for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to have an article about raccoons swimming in pools on their website, “It is important to keep raccoons out of your pool and watch for raccoon feces (poop) in and around your pool. Raccoon feces can sometimes contain the eggs of a worm called Baylisascaris procyonis, which can infect humans, particularly children, and cause severe neurologic illness,” they write.

Luckily, we have the adorable Waylon and Willie to watch worry-free in the video below.
