San Antonio Takes Top Spot on ‘Most Romantic’ Cities List

Texans know that San Antonio has a lot to offer – the River Walk, historical places of interest and of course, incredible events like Fiesta. Now, Amazon is adding another reason why the Alamo City is so wonderful – romance is in the air!

According to MySA.com, Amazon makes a “yearly list based off sales data from cities with more than 100,000 residents” pertaining to items like “romance novels, relationship books, romantic comedies, music from artists like Adele, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Drake, Brad Paisley and Barry White as well as ‘sexual wellness products,'” to determine which U.S. cities are the most romantic.

While San Antonio didn’t make the cut for the past couple of years, it now ranks number one! The only other Texas city to make the list was Round Rock, coming in at number 19.

VisitSanAntonio.com already has a page dedicated to date nights and other amorous outings. They suggest “Idyllic walks along the lush river bank, a special dinner for two on a moonlit terrace, a picnic and fine bottle of wine in a picturesque vineyard or an indulgent treatment for two at a luxurious spa,” while also mentioning that the city was featured on ABC’s “The Bachelorette” due to the city’s penchant for romance.
