Lucky San Antonio Man Wins Millions From a Scratch-Off Ticket
Scratch-off tickets are notorious for a brief moment of fun followed by disappointment, but for Francisco N. Villareal, of San Antonio, that bit of scratching excitement turned into a lifetime of wealth.
Villareal bought a “$10 Set For Life” game ticket at the Right Choice Food Mart at 255 N.W. White Road in south San Antonio. He is now $4,374,858.80 richer!
If you’re thinking about running out and buying some of these particular scratch-offs, keep in mind that this ticket marked the third of three major prizes the game had to offer. The other two winning scratch-offs were bought in Splendora and Seguin last year.
Though it’s also worth noting that since 1997, the lottery has provided $19 billion to the Foundation School Fund. Perhaps that, along with the allure of winning millions, will keep us picking up a few scratch-offs at the corner store.
