This week’s KABB Fox 29 “On the Run” and Bexar County Sheriff Department’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit suspect captured just before 10 a.m. on December 16, 2016. On Wednesday, December 14th, KABB Fox 29 publicized a segment of “On the Run” regarding Quinton Lamar Lewis. Quinton Lewis allegedly shot another man at a car wash in the 8000 block of Midcrown Drive.

San Antonio KABB Fox 29 ‘On the Run’ Suspect Captured

The shooting took place around 1 p.m. on June 8th. At the time of the shooting, the police did not know what caused the shooting. They did confirm a victim, who had been shot at least once, was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
In the report on December 14th, KABB Fox 29 described Lewis as being 5’3”, approximately 150 pounds, and covered with a variety of tattoos. Lewis has a long history of violent crimes including aggravated assault, narcotics, burglary, and criminal trespass.

On December 16th, shortly before the Bexar County Sheriff Department’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit discovered Quintin Lewis hiding in a room at the Motel 6 in the 5500 block of Interstate Highway 35. When they took him into custody, they discovered he had a handgun, so Lewis will now face an additional charge of Felon in Possession of a Weapon.
