San Antonio Set to Host Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair

It’s that time of year again! San Antonio Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair will stir passion among Tejano fans everywhere. This epic event will be in full swing from March 17-20, 2016, at San Antonio’s Historic Market Square from 12 noon until 11 p.m., and it’s FREE! This is the world’s largest Tejano music festival event, and it is right here in the great city of San Antonio!

Starting in the early 1990s, this event was located at Sunset Station and then Joe Freeman Coliseum.  Due to record crowds the event is now held at Historic Market Square. In past years, there have been as many as 95,000 guests who have enjoyed this fan fair.

This year’s event includes five stages with over 125 performing Tejano artists, and there will be over 160 artists at the meet and greet autograph sessions. Live performances include Ricky Valenz, Ram Herrera, Ruben Ramos, Jimmy Gonzales, LaMafia, and the legendary Tortilla Factory just to name a few. Before her tragic death in 1995, the beautiful and illustrious rising Tejano star, Selena Quintanilla, even appeared at the fan fair.
