Schlitterbahn Opens World’s Tallest Water Coaster

Climb up eight flights of stairs, get in an inner tube, and then hold on tight for a wild ride! You’re on Schlitterbahn Galveston’s newly opened water coaster called MASSIV.

This thrill ride has been verified by the Guinness World Records as the world’s tallest water coaster coming in at just over 81 feet and 6.75 inches tall. Riders can expect to plummet down drops and pushed up into colorful pipes by rushing water.

Schlitterbahn Galveston is open year round and has 34 fun attractions in a 26-acre park near Moody Gardens. They’re celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.
