See the Incredible Views of Texas Hill Country From a Drone
If you’ve never toyed with one of those high-flying drones, they’re ridiculously fun. And what better to capture with their cameras than footage of this beautiful Texas Hill Country we call home?
Some folks are doing just that. Not only professional photographers, but hobbyists, too. Guess you could always strap a Go-Pro onto a kite and try it that way, but why not hover around with a remote control drone?
Some of the experiments people are doing are very cool, and one of the best known in the area is Christopher V. Sherman of OverAustin.com:

A host of other drone enthusiasts are trying their hand at capturing the natural wonders of the Texas Hill Country as well. Take, for instance, the footage of the Texas Hill Country from a drone on YouTube:
And that’s probably just the beginning — you can imagine how these are useful to not only photographers, but casual wildlife enthusiasts and professional conservationists as well, as even the Audubon Society has begun showcasing their usage for studying the patterns of birds in America:
Pretty cool, if you think about it — at no other age in history has been seeing the serene environment been this easy or this fun.
