Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was the American Idol of a generation of fans young and old who continue to admire and keep her memory alive. With the anniversary of her death upon us, it’s no wonder that in recent weeks a few Selena inspired memorabilia have become available for fans to purchase and enjoy. Just as fast as they were introduced, some have also sold out.

Below are three unique and one-of-kind Selena inspired products, some only a lucky few were able to get their hands on. This Texas “Queen of Tejano,” as she was known, is still creating waves among a new generation of fans who will keep her memory alive well into the future as do fans of other artists who are no longer with us but still garner our attention with the talent they once shared, and captivated our hearts with.

H-E-B released limited edition reusable tote bags featuring Selena which debuted across select  Texas stores, and online on March 2, 2018.

In partnership with the Selena Foundation to honor the “Queen of Cumbia,” the grocery chain celebrated the late singer’s legacy for their “Texas superstar week,” according to an article by the Houston Public Media. ‪”The passion from Selena fans has been incredible and has demonstrated a strong following from around the nation. It is great to be a part of the love that Selena continues to inspire across all generations,” shared the H-E-B Facebook page.

The bag sold out as quickly as it was displayed with fans standing in line for their chance to grab the one-of-kind tote. Fans hoping to get their hands on the bag online were also disappointed to find out they were sold out just as quickly there as well. Proceeds from the $2 bag will go to various causes shared Selena’s sister Suzette Quintanilla-Arriaga, who was on hand to display the unveiling of the bag at a Corpus Christi H-E-B store.
