Waco, Texas has seen a lot of change over its lifetime, but none so powerfully positive as the re-purposing of abandoned silos and a cotton oil mill downtown. Chip and Joanna Gaines purchased the property in 2014 to complete their largest “Fixer Upper” ever, turning it into Magnolia Market. Quickly becoming a favorite of tourists, I-35 commuters, and Waco residents, it’s now celebrating its third anniversary and it’s guaranteed to be a Silobration.

That’s right, the HGTV stars have the perfect place for you to find some retail therapy when you’re looking for a break, a décor item to dress up your home, or inspiration for your own DIY and fixer-upper projects. And now they’re inviting everyone out to the market from October 12–14 to the Silobration event, reveling in three years of business. Over 80 artisans will be on hand, not to mention some great food trucks, and it wouldn’t be any sort of Texas event if it didn’t feature live music – Johnnyswim and Jon Foreman will be performing on the Silos stage after hours.

All daytime events at the Silobration are free and open to the public. However, the after-hours concerts will require a ticket, which can be purchased on the Magnolia Market website link available here. Showing their appreciation to their customers for making the market all that it has become, Chip and Joanna will make an appearance at the evening festivities as well. Get your shopping bags ready, your GPS geared towards Waco, and your appetite and taste in good Texas music ready to roll. Silobration is sure to be one heck of a party!
