Fun Fun Fun Fest used to take over Auditorium Shores in Austin, bringing together hip-hop, metal, indie, and electronic music as an alternative to the city’s massive ACL Festival. Now, Fun Fun Fun has been reincarnated into an even more eclectic celebration of music 35 miles from Austin’s center in McDade, Texas called Sound on Sound.

Sound on Sound takes place at Sherwood Forest on the weekend of November 10th – 12th at the site of a yearly Renaissance Festival complete with 100 permanent structures. According to Austin CultureMap, the 23-acre fantasy-themed grounds will hold multiple music stages, “medieval-style activities,” art, vendors, and plenty of Austin food trailers to help patrons eat, drink, and be merry.

The recently released line-up shows that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Iggy Pop, The Shins, and Blood Orange will take top billing. Check out the rest of the music acts here, listen to sound clips, and access the Spotify playlist.

Tickets run $189 for a regular three-day pass. Camping and VIP tickets are also available, and closer to the month of the show, single-day passes will go up for sale along with set times. For a fee, festival goers can grab a shuttle to Sherwood Forest from Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and College Station. Parking will also be available on site (also for a fee).
