No matter if you are enjoy camping at your favorite Hill Country state park, cooking out a city park, or your backyard, satisfy your family and friends with a mouthwatering Spicy Jalapeno & Bacon Cheeseburger. This recipe combines the unique taste of jalapenos, bacon, pepper jack cheese and all your favorite condiments into one mouthwatering burger.
Spicy Jalapeno & Bacon Cheeseburgers
4 slices of bacon
12 ounces sliced, pickled jalapenos, drained
1 ½ pounds of ground chuck (80% lean)
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
8 thin slices of pepper jack cheese

In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain grease. Chop bacon into ½ inch pieces. Prepare grill for cooking. Chop half of the pickled jalapenos. In large bowl, mix ground beef, chopped jalapenos, garlic, and salt. Form four hamburger patties with mixture about ¾ inch thick, do not compact meat too much. Using the back of a spoon, make shallow indention about one inch wide in the center of the hamburger patty.
Brush cooking grill with grease or spray with cooking grill spray. Grill patties until cooked as desired. During the last minutes of grilling, add two slices of cheese to each patty and melt. Toast buns. Remove patties from grill and top with bacon and jalapenos. Garnish with your favorite condiments, pickles, tomato, lettuce, onions and all your favorite hamburger toppings. Makes 4 servings.
