Situated on the grounds of a historic San Antonio ranch, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa has a beautiful and tranquil setting, capturing the essence of its natural Texas surroundings, from its wildflower meadows right down to its delightful gardens. The crowning glory of this resort is its five-acre, nature-inspired water park. With a wonderful cascading waterfall marking the entrance to the resort’s 950-foot Ramblin’ River, guests can grab an inner tube to float down what was designed to imitate a few of the area’s more popular tubing rivers. Your entrance to this amazing escape is the mouth of a limestone tunnel which takes you from the resort’s activity pool into a serene, flowing waterway through which you can float along with the current, enjoying the colorful landscape.

If something a little more fast-paced is your style, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa has a heated FlowRider ® which allows hotel guests to try their hand at bodyboarding, surfing, and knee-boarding, year-round. They also feature a 22-foot tower slide, which can be accessed by guests ages five and up. An activity guide is provided to visitors upon check-in, including a list of scheduled recreation activities. And kids will have their hands full in the summer months with movies on the lawn, building sand castles, horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, and much more. There are also a number of other free activities, depending on arrival dates and times, and nearby attractions include SeaWorld San Antonio, in case you would like to get out for some added amusement. This resort is a wonderful way to spend a family vacation right here in Texas, where everything for your enjoyment can be found under one roof!
