Spurs Fans Show Same Longevity as Duncan

A long-time San Antonio Spurs and Tim Duncan fan posted a Facebook picture featuring him and his son at both Tim Duncan’s first game and Sunday night’s game (December 18) at which Duncan’s jersey was retired in testament to the player’s longevity.

Mr. Fernandez’s post featured the two photos together, showing him holding his baby son, taken at Duncan’s first game with the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 1, 1997, and the other from this past Sunday’s Spurs game.

Duncan won five NBA titles and two MVP’s in his years with the Spurs, totaling 19, and Mr. Martinez’s post shows the determination of a Spurs fan, right alongside their favorite players.
