Over 75 Well-Known Retailers Will Be Closed

Despite the fact that many Black Friday sales now begin on Thanksgiving Day, numerous stores remain reluctant to open their doors. Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 23, 2017, this year, and over 75 well-known retailers are expected to be closed. Here’s an abbreviated and updated list of some of the stores that will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day (and one that will be closed on Black Friday as well).

How Do Americans Feel About Stores Opening on Thanksgiving Day?

Best Black Friday did a survey of American shoppers to gauge their feelings on stores being open on Thanksgiving Day. Their findings were: 57.53% of respondents do not like the idea of stores opening on Thanksgiving, 26.25% feeling indifferent, and only 16.22% actually favor openings.
