What better time than the present to explore the beautiful Enchanted Rock! If you want to feel “on top of the world,” this is the place! This granite rock rises 425 feet above the base elevation of the park and 1,825 feet above sea level, and promises a most stunning view – where the Texas sky meets the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

New pets rules apply as of March 2016. Unfortunately, due to erosion problems, pets are only allowed in the day use area, the campgrounds, and the Loop Trail. As always, remember your pet must be on a leash and never left alone. Always carry water for your pet to drink.
