Call centers such as QVC in San Antonio hire seasonal customer service representatives to support their busy season. With the average call center agent earning $11.50/hour, it is a great way to earn some summer fun money.

Amusement parks hire hundreds of summertime employees to support the thousands of tourists that pay visit every day. Not only is it a fun and exciting place to work, most amusement parks offer employee discounts and free passes! From Fiesta Texas in San Antonio to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, and everywhere in between, there are plenty of amusement parks to find work at.

While the holidays are traditionally when retail stores hire more workers, summer also sees an increase in employee numbers. This is to ensure they have enough staff to meet the needs of tourists who are in town and looking for some retail therapy. Many tourists actually plan to visit popular malls, such as North Star Mall in San Antonio during their trip.
