Moving Sundance Head Music Video for ‘Darlin’ Don’t Go’

After winning this season of The Voice, Sundance Head has toured the country with his new label, doing press junkets and meetings and working on his music. Notwithstanding this hectic schedule, Head managed to produce a music video for his song “Darlin’ Don’t Go,” which he sang during The Voice‘s season 11 finale. Originally, the beautiful tune was written for his better half, and the video was done quite fittingly.

Done in a simple and effective fashion, the video features Head writing love songs to his wife in a darkened home. His voice starts out strongly at the video’s beginning, while he’s begging his wife not to go. It’s a dramatic track that’s both heartwarming and devastating at the same time.

“Darlin’ Don’t Go” is presently available on iTunes, together with Head’s other solo performances from The Voice season 11. He beat out Josh Gallagher, Wé McDonald, and country child star Billy Gilman.

Head was selected as a part of Blake Shelton’s team on the show’s competition after he entered the blind auditions. His entry song was Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long,” and his finale performances were equally as memorable, including a duet with KISS and renditions of his dad’s song “Treat Her Right,” and Etta James’ “At Last.” After winning the competition, Head signed a recording contract with Universal Music Group.
