Jared Padalecki, one of the stars of the televisions series “Supernatural,” has recently been accused of assault on two bar employees from Stereotype, a downtown Austin venue which Padalecki co-owns. According to court documents, the actor and Texas native appeared intoxicated outside the bar, where witnesses have given affidavits to the effect that he was involved in a verbal fight inside the establishment, which turned physical.

Padalecki hails from San Antonio and began his rise to stardom with his role in the “Gilmore Girls” series. He currently resides in Austin, where June 23 was recently declared “Supernatural Day” as a result of his fame and recognition. It was recently noted that Padalecki may also be starring in a new version of the “Walker, Texas Ranger” TV show.

Details from the alleged assault claim that Austin authorities were flagged down early on the morning of Sunday, October 27, 2019, by people outside of Stereotype. They accompanied a man who was bleeding from a wound on his head. While referring to Padalecki, people outside the bar said, “Take this guy to jail,” while he stood by, laughing and smiling. He was approached by an officer to come and speak with him, however, according to officers, the actor said, “No, I don’t want to talk to you,” after which he touched the body camera on the Austin police officer. He eventually acquiesced to their request and took a seat on a patrol vehicle bumper. In the process of determining what took place, he proceeded to touch one of the officers on the chest. In an effort to put a stop to this type of behavior, he was placed in handcuffs in the back of a patrol vehicle.
