Two Docs Brewing Co. is bringing together over 30 businesses, from food trucks to general vendors, to celebrate small business and—of course—delicious, mouth-watering tamales. The event is free to the public! Two Docs Brewing Co. is located at 502 Texas Ave. in Lubbock.
The festival will feature fierce competition for Best Tamale, Most Creative Tamale, and People’s Favorite Tamale. See who will be crowned victor of the Tamale Eating Competition (sponsored by Mijo’s BBQ). Get your taste buds ready and save room in your belly to try a wide variety of tamales from the best cooks on the South Plains.

1:00PM – Tamale and General Vendors open up to sell. People’s Favorite Tamale Competition and Live Music begin. (Vendors will have QR codes located at booths to have customers scan)
2:00PM – Tamale Judging begins.
3:00PM – Tamale Eating Competition Begins (15-minute limit)
4:00PM – Tamale Judging Concludes and winners announced.
7:00PM – Vendor selling time ends
7:00PM – Live music and special beer release at Two Docs Brewing Co. continues.
