The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center’s 35th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio will commence Wednesday morning with Senior Conjunto Dance, featuring the musical stylings of Bene Medina y Conjunto Aguila.

Coordinated by founder and programmer Juan Tejeda, the festival features Conjunto Music Hall of Fame award winners together with national and international conjunto musicians and promises to be a star-studded event. The Seniors dance will kick things off from 10 a.m. to 12 noon (which is free) on Wednesday at the Guadalupe Theater, and an event reception will take place on Thursday at 6 pm (same location) followed by ‘Conjunto Blues’ at 7 p.m. and ‘Los Nahuatlatos’ at 8:15 p.m. Tickets for these experiences range from $10-$25.
