Dallas-Fort Worth airport (DFW) is normally close to the top of the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) list of airports with the greatest amount of seized firearms. However, bizarre baggage apparently comes in greater (and weirder) amounts at places like Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. This was where a Texas Chainsaw Massacre full-size prop corpse was recently passed through an X-ray machine, effectively ranking on the TSA list of the top 10 most unusual finds for 2016.

Texas can proudly say it made the list as well, however. We’re not sure whether it’s something to be proud of, but a traveler at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston tried to board a plane with a pair of floggers in their carry-on (with five blades to be exact). In case you wondered…that’s not on the acceptable list. On its Instagram account, TSA posted, “If you’re in a situation where you’re going to need your floggers, they’ll have to be packed in checked baggage.”

There are lots more weird and whacky items that travelers thought (or did they really) would be acceptable in their carry-on when traveling on business, or pleasure, or both (in some instances). If your curiosity is getting the best of you, check out this crazy TSA top 10 list on their blog.
