From now until the end of the holiday season, one Texas coffee shop is serving up a treat that’s beloved by every student at Hogwarts – butterbeer! Peggy’s Coffee Shop in Temple is supplying wizard-wannabes with the sugary treat to celebrate the upcoming release of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and the rerelease of the “Harry Potter” films at the IMAX located next to the coffee shop in the local mall. To top it all off, that movie theater even allows patrons to take their butterbeer inside!

What makes butterbeer so special? As MySA.com explains, the students in the Harry Potter books would visit The Hog’s Head and The Three Broomsticks in the fictional village of Hogsmeade to drink the beverage. Of course, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios serves the drink to visitors, and it’s become a sensation among fans. It tastes like butterscotch whipping cream with a creme soda base, and the Temple coffee shop has emulated it perfectly. Peggy’s is even serving it in iced, hot or frozen versions (all nonalcoholic).

Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin, you’re welcome to grab a brew at Peggy’s Coffee House until they “Evanesco” after the holidays.
