Singing about every experience within this great state of ours that makes us call it home, Kevin Fowler belts out “Texas Forever” like it’s our anthem. And, why not? Full of state pride and a love of all things that endear the Lone Star State to its people, the song is a country music ballad that stirs the soul and nearly brings a tear to your eye.

Released in October 2016, the song should normally be played loud from all available speakers in your car, truck, or whichever vehicle you happen to be cruising in. Ideally, all the windows should be down, your knuckles should be wrapping on the steering wheel, and everyone you pull up next to should be able to sing along with you. But in reality, it’s simply a great song.

Shared on the KevinFowlerVevo YouTube Channel, the Amarillo native appears to have a knack for getting to the heart of the matter with this ballad aimed at filling you with Texas pride. Iconic events, important people, and places that will forever hold a spot in our hearts are all key elements of his music and most definitely thematically ring true with the listener on this track. Released on the album “Coming to a Honky Tonk Near You”, we’re sure you’ll want to add this to a current playlist soon!
