Texas Hill Country’s Best Firework Extravaganzas

The 4th of July is upon us, and that means family, friends, picnics, and fireworks! The Texas Hill Country has many firework extravaganzas you won’t want to miss.

Austin, Texas

You don’t want to miss the H-E-B Austin Symphony Orchestra July Fourth Celebration located at Vic Mathias Shores. The celebration includes food, drinks, and many arts and craft vendors.  The orchestra starts playing at 8:30 p.m. followed by a firework display at 9:30 p.m. that will line the Austin city skyline.  This event is free and open to the public.

Boerne, Texas

Don’t miss the Random Independence Day Celebrations in Boerne, Texas. Located at 11 Upper Cibolo Creek Road, the celebration includes live music, food trucks, monster bounce for the kiddos, and plenty of games.  The fireworks will kick off at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnic basket to celebrate the Fourth of July spirit at City Park, located at 106 City Park Road. This is a free event and the fireworks will kick off at dusk.

Cedar Park, Texas

There is plenty of family fun to enjoy at Millburn Park, located at 1901 Sun Chase Blvd. in Cedar Park. There will be live music, inflatables for the kids, free watermelon, bingo, face painting, and plenty more.  Don’t forget the firework show which will kick off at dusk.

Fredericksburg, Texas

The Bill Smallwood Band will kick off the firework celebration at the Pioneer Pavilion at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park at 7:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the free live music.  The firework show will kick off at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Kerrville, Texas

There will be plenty of food and family fun at the Robert Earl Keen’s Fourth on the River at Louise Hays Park in Kerrville, Texas. There will also be plenty of live music from David Vincent w. Danny B. Harvey, Sean Kendrick Band, Bruce Robison, and Robert Earl Keen. Stay put after the evening of music, because you won’t want to miss the firework extravaganza kicking off at approximately 9:15 p.m. This event is free of charge!
