Texas Horse Makes Unlikely Best Friend, and Their Bond Will Warm Your Heart

In East Texas, Whiskey Brown is a four-year-old Quarter Horse stallion with a surprising best friend. You’ll never believe this unbreakable bond.

YouTuber countrynow1 posted this video of their land in Texas where one horse and one pup are the best of friends. Whiskey Brown, the stallion, and Lucy, the Portuguese Water Dog, were raised together and have grown to be two very amusing playmates.

In the video below, you can see just a few minutes of one of their play sessions. As Lucy runs toward Whiskey Brown, the stallion collapses on the ground and starts to roll around. Lucy follows and begins to chase her friend around on the ground.

The two even share kisses from the fence that separates them. Whiskey Brown is so ecstatic with his friend that he begins to run around the field full of happiness. The size difference, while alarming, is handled between these two friends without any human interaction.

Watching these two play reminds me of childhood friends who have just finished their homework and can finally go outside to play with their buddies. The way the two greet each other really warms your heart and makes you believe in affection and love, no matter what species.
