Annual Texas Monthly Whiskey Affair Whisking Into Houston

The Texas Monthly Whiskey Affair is making its way into Houston in the month of February, featuring over 50 whiskey brands at Silver Street Studios on Thursday, February 8.

The second annual lauding of liquor of the brown fashion is taking place from 6 to 10 p.m. at 2000 Edwards St. in the Bayou City, where Silver Street Studios will tempt your taste buds for rye with food and beverage offerings from Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, Helen Greek Food & Wine and Helen in the Heights, Majkszak’s Meat Market, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, and Reserve 101. Guests can also experience seminars led the Editor-in-Chief of Texas Monthly, Tim Taliaferro, as well as the Texas Monthly Wine & Spirits Contributor, Jessica Dupuy.

The event will feature live music by Doc Watkins, who owns Jazz, TX, along with book signings by David Courtney, Texas Monthly Senior Editor and author of “The Texanist: Fine Advice on Living in Texas” and Gay Gaddis, author of “Cowgirl Power: How to Kick Ass in Business and Life” and CEO & founder of T3: The Think Tank.
