How could such an elaborate and finely tuned event unfold without a hitch? With a dedicated team of Volunteers and staff covering each and every aspect of the process. Yvonne Gonzales is a long standing example of the dedication to these committees. “I am on Wine Competition Committee. My 3rd year with them and 10th year volunteering with HLSR,” says Gonzales.

Lisa Hernandez is another volunteer committee member. “I assign drivers to offsite pickups. The drivers transport the rodeo guest from their destination to the HLSR. Most of our guests are associated with the division of chairman or special interests of the HLSR. The rest of the transportation committee helps transport rodeo guest with NRG.”

There are over 32,000 folks serving on 108 committees that range in everything from Auctions Assistance, Carnival Ticket Sales, the Horse Show and Mutton Bustin’ to name but just a few.
