Texas Twisted Sisters Fiat Road Trip is a Hill Country Dream Come True

Kerrville will soon be the site for the 4th Annual Twisted Sisters Fiat Road Trip, featuring this epic drive through the Texas Hill Country front-and-center. This two-day event for Fiat drivers allows them the opportunity to put their car to the test as they (safely) maneuver the “Twisted Sisters” scenic drives on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, including beautiful scenery, all the twists and turns that are par for the course, delicious food, and great company.

Registration for this year’s event closed on May 31, however, the simple fact that Fiat drivers are customizing their cars and taking a Texas Hill Country coordinated road trip is cool, no?! It reads like something from a classic road rally movie in which the drivers make the tour, but an underlying plot of excitement or espionage somehow happens along the way – with Italian-style automotive action at the forefront.

Shared on the BlaqSea YouTube channel, this video clip entitled “Texas Twisted Sisters Road Trip 2017” covers (in high-speed) last year’s event. Similar to this year, 2017 featured meet-and-greets, maps, coordinated lunches and dinners at great Hill Country restaurants, and a pre-event caravan for those coming from the Houston area (the event sponsor, NGEN Customs & Performance, operates out of a Houston suburb). This year’s event Facebook page highlights the drive’s agenda for Saturday and Sunday, as well as the cool extras that participants receive with registration – including lanyards, t-shirts, and more. Children are also welcomed as a part of the road trip, with organizers simply asking to be advised in advance along with possible food restrictions for them, or yourself. So, the next time you’re considering touring the “Twisted Sisters,” remember that there are entire group events such as this that safely make it the adventure it’s meant to be – scenic, beautiful, and enjoyed from the luxury of your favorite ride. You can keep rubber-to-pavement on four wheels as well (you don’t have to own or drive a Fiat to make a trip like this), while also obeying the rules of the road and safely enjoy a wonderful part of the Texas Hill Country, road-trip style.
