‘Timelapse’ of Texas Growth is Stunning

Everything’s bigger in Texas, including urban sprawl! Google has proven it with the release of a time lapse feature on Google Earth which Chron.com summarized in a succinct video. The growth over three decades is amazing and so obvious, even if you don’t realize it.

With this new Google feature release users can now see over thirty years of development and growth. Using in excess of 5 million images, “timelapse” shows tremendous growth around the planet. And Texas is not immune. See if you can spot your Texas town and watch to determine its expansion in the following video.
