Theaters to Celebrate ‘Titanic’ 20th Anniversary with a Return to the Big Screen

Do you remember when “Titanic” was released in theaters, and, how everyone fell in love with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet and cried as Rose said she’d “never let go?” It’s been 20 years since audiences were swept away by “Titanic,” and now fans can rekindle their obsession with the film, and a new generation can see it for the first time as it’s reintroduced into theaters for a week to celebrate its anniversary starting on December 1.

KHOU reports that the film will look better than ever before. Director James Cameron is thrilled about the re-release, saying, “This is beyond 3D, beyond 70mm, it’s beyond anything you’ve seen before. The image leaps off the screen as bright and vibrant as life itself. This is the way all movies should be seen. and without a doubt, ‘Titanic’ has never looked better.”

The film will be shown in both 2D and 3D in select theaters to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Check out the AMC website to find tickets for the location closest to you and snag tickets as soon as possible. They’ve only been on sale for a couple of days, but this film made a strong impression on many people who will be ready to take the dive all over again.
