The Hodges babies were born March 24 – three months premature. The babies’ names are Teagan, Connell, Liam, Nolan, and Dillon. The Hodges told People Magazine in an interview, “We had always dreamed about having a big family,” says Liz, who turned to fertility drugs to help conceive a sibling for 2-year-old son Rowan only to find out she was pregnant with five.
“Being able to get pregnant with one child is a huge blessing — anybody who’s gone through infertility treatments can speak true to that,” she adds. “Getting pregnant with quintuplets was an even bigger miracle. What I said first was, ‘I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!’ ”

Liz thinks boys are the most fun and she’s now mother to five boys and one little girl, Teagan. Daniel, a former Marine, is enrolled in medical school so it will be a struggle for the family to stay on budget. Viewers will also meet Liz and Daniel’s extended family who are there to support them every step of the way. “Hodges Half Dozen” will air weekly on TLC on Tuesdays through the fall.
Central Texas quintuplets have found their way onto reality shows before. “Quints by Surprise” featured the Jones family — parents Casey and Ethan Jones and quintuplets Brooklyn, Britton, Jack, Lila, and Ryan and their older sister Eliot.
