1. Camp Longhorn (Inks Lake)

This gem is located on the beautiful Inks Lake in Marble Falls, Texas. This one has been around for quite some time. Since opening in 1939, Camp Longhorn also has a camp, Indian Springs which was opened in 1975. They offer two and three week sessions for girls and boys, if you want your child to just stay a week at the camp, you can choose Camp Longhorn C3 camp which is their newest addition, located on Inks Lake as well. Get the same Camp Longhorn experience all in one week. Camp Longhorn offers 25 different activities. Some include: archery, swimming, wildlife, crafts, skiing, and “the blob”.
2. Camp Mystic (Hunt, Texas)

This camp is a girls-only camp! It’s located in the beautiful Hunt, Texas. Camp Mystic wants your girls to grow and learn by the “Camp Mystic Ideals,” which are: be a better person for being at Camp Mystic, let mystic bring out the best in them, and grow spiritually. This is a private, all-girls Christian summer camp, right on the Guadalupe River. Camp Mystic offers many water activities! With over 30 different activities at Camp Mystic, there is never a dull moment. Some of the activities include: canoeing and kayaking, diving, archery, fishing, hunter safety, synchronized swimming, and much more!
